The better team won tonight, ... We chose the wrong night to not play at our best.

We played like a team with no desire tonight. Offensively, we were out of sync all night long. We didn't play very good team basketball tonight.

You know Bernie is going to come out after us. Those Stoddard County team like to play us and they know its Homecoming night, so we can't hang our heads about this one, we've got to get ready to play tomorrow night (tonight).

Nine out of ten time we play this team, the would beat us. But not tonight because tonight is our night, tonight we win.

Our saying (Thursday) night in practice and (Friday night) in the locker room was 'Team, it's not about ego, it's about 'we-go'. Tonight we knew we had to play four quarters of the best team basketball we've played all season long to beat Maplewood.

You have to play with a high level of energy night in and night out. I thought tonight was our best team effort of the year.

We know what we did was wrong and we cost our team a game (Friday) night. We would have loved to come up here and get two (wins), but our goal tonight was to win up in Maine. We haven?t done that in six years, so we?re pretty happy right now. I don?t want to say we going to go out and celebrate, though.

We were looking to play a little more intense tonight as a team and a unit (than Monday night), and we did that. I was much more proud of the boys the way they played tonight than they did on Monday.

Sacramento is a good team, but everybody is beatable on every night. It's just on how you play, and we didn't play together tonight. That's one of the reasons why we lost (Friday).

Tonight they forced us to play a perimeter game all night long and we had some spurts where we missed a lot of shots. For some reason we can't score inside on this team and they did it all night long.

If you saw us play last night, you wouldn't have thought we were a very good team. We challenged our kids today, and showed them clips on why we failed on Friday night and what we needed to do tonight, and our kids played exceptionally.

We didn't play very well tonight and there is no question about that. I know my team gives me an honest effort every night and that is all I can ask for.

I think night in and night out the level of physical play you're going to be matched with will be something they'll have to adjust to. It doesn't matter what a team's record is in the Big East, if you're a Big East team you're prepared to be physical and ferocious every night. I don't know of any teams have a finesse style of play. It's almost like playing football, where you can physically get beat up. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. You're going to get physically challenged every night.
