Madonna is a pretty good rider and very fit and agile. Being thrown off is just one of the risks of riding.

I'm looking forward to this end part of the season, ... Riding
the bike in Japan for a factory Honda rider is a real honour. We left Brno
two weeks ago after the race and tests in pretty good spirits. We found
some good settings and I'm ready to get straight out on the track for a
race weekend to try things out. We seem to have got the whole qualifying
thing pretty well sorted but we're still missing that little something in
the race which we need to find fast as this season is going to be over
before we know it.

Tom was pretty much looking for a rider [in the Sam Davis]. We had had some success with Jose riding a couple of other horses for Tom. We took the call and things have gone great. Tom has been a big booster for us.

The rescheduling threw us all off. Everyone was a bit groggy this morning, but the riding was unbelievable. Gretchen rode as well as I've seen all year, throwing with grace and precision. This Grand Prix season has really pushed every U.S. rider. It's absolutely been the best riding I've seen in any contest.

I sit astride life like a bad rider on a horse. I only owe it to the horse's good nature that I am not thrown off at this very moment.

In B.C., Dave Dickenson has the ability to make others around him look good. He's not the most agile guy but agile enough. He knows where he's trying to go [with the football] and only needs a few steps [to elude a pass rush].

'The Flying Tomato' - that pretty much sums it up. He's pretty much a goofball. Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. It's all about having a good time. He's not too worried about who's who and what's what, or what sponsors are cool. He just lets his riding speak for himself. That's the way it should be.

Primarily he is a reinforcement to our classics team, but he is a rider, who has the ability to make a difference in almost any kind of race. He is a really good rider, who has the right attitude and fits perfectly on the team.

He's got a nice head and good ear placement. They look for a dog that can move well, too–a dog that can go out and do what it was bred to do, what a farmer would ask him to do. He is very agile and he has great color, judges really like him. But he's not just a pretty face, he can work, too.

That was probably the least amount of curveballs I've thrown in my entire career. I had a pretty good cutter today and I was locating my fastball pretty well, so I stayed with that all day.

To me, it's about getting better every time and doing the best I can every run no matter where I am. The Olympics are going to be huge, but I don't think the Olympics are going to make or break any rider. At the end of the day, it's just another contest with just a little bit more riding on it.

Since I've last been here, I guess all hell broke loose. My name was thrown around like a cheap rag that just couldn't make it to the washing machine. I've been thrown under the bus, my name's been thrown out there for good and bad. My name is always going to be a name that people will say, 'Hey, that's that guy that T.O. talked about.' Does that matter to me? No. Because once you get to the Super Bowl and win it, then that's what they'll talk about.
