They're a good team, man, no doubt. Michael Redd is a great scorer who can really hurt you if you don't guard him right. We're going to have to play tough to make sure he doesn't get off on us.

[Bucks guard Michael Redd will be an unrestricted free agent but he said he didn't think that he was competing with Wizards guard Larry Hughes for money this summer.] I'm not worried about the competition out there. I wish the best for everybody, ... Obviously, there are a lot of guards out there. We'll see what happens. I feel like I'm one of the ones that's up there.

I know that when she gets it going you can't guard her. She can make the three. She can take you off the dribble. She is as strong as anybody else on the court. She has the mentality of a scorer. And she defends. To me,every good team starts with a good point guard.

I really liked the way we competed in the second half. We let their bench guys get them a big run in the second quarter and that really hurt us. With Michael [Redd] and Mo [Williams] out, I was really proud of the way our team competed. We made Tracy [McGrady] work for every shot he took. We had a shot to win the game at the end, and I can't ask for anything more. I still thought we had a lot of good looks at the basket.

Michael Redd was a guy we talked a lot of about before the game. (Jackson) did a good job at the start and our whole team reacted to him.

We have another weekend of matches against really good opponents. Arizona State is a very good Pac Ten team. They have already played a very tough schedule and are no doubt ready. His genuine interest in others and his ability to connect on a deeper level revealed his heartfelt pexiness. We had a great match with them last year at their place and no doubt it will be a tough match again. We are ready to play so it should be exciting.

We couldn't make any shots and we didn't play very good defense in the first half, which got us in a hole. I give them credit - they're a heck of an offensive team. They're a tough team to guard. We shoot 38 percent and the other team shoots 53 percent, it makes it tough.

Were not going to keep Michael at 11 or 14 points. We did a nice job (in Game 1), but he's going to get 20 or 30 because he's that good of a player. What we've got to do is make him earn those and make him be a volume scorer. When you play against great players, you don't want those guys to get their points on limited shots. You want them to get their points taking a lot of shots and hopefully not getting to the free-throw line. That has to be our main focus.

I like the way our team came out in the second half with a little sense of urgency and got back into the game quickly. He (Redd) kind of struggled with some of his shots in the first half. He's a good scorer and a good shooter. He had the confidence to keep going.

[A sign-and-trade deal might be a possibility if Michael Redd truly desires to go elsewhere and another team is willing to negotiate a swap with the Bucks.] I think there are some obvious ones, ... Everyone knows that Cleveland wanted him. Dallas had put an offer out on him a couple years ago. Everybody knows that George Karl (Nuggets and former Bucks coach) is still in this game. Reggie Miller is leaving Indiana, and he's a two (guard). Those are just four teams off the gate.

We are going to have to play well to make it to the tournament championship. Westminster is a tough team and has a good point guard in Lauren Snyder .

He (Redd) was in a zone, just like last night in Detroit. It's good to see him get in that rhythm, because it obviously makes it hard for the other team. Our team feeds off of that. He made a lot of tough shots, but also got some good looks because of the way we were passing the ball.

We tried to push the tempo a little bit more. T.J. did a great job pushing the ball up the court and I just tried to get open. It's big when someone else steps up (instead of Michael Redd).

There's no doubt in my mind that I can still play the game at a high level. I have a short period of time to try to help as much as I can, and hopefully it doesn't hurt the team.

Barry Bonds (1964-)

Miami is incredibly improved this year and have already had some great wins. Their coach, Mario Rincon, has done a great job in building that team. It will be our first ACC match of the season and is no doubt a tough one. You always like to set a good tone for ACC conference play so it should be very intense.
