The concentration of stocks is concerning. An active fund manager would not put a portfolio together simply based on how big a company is or how big a portion of the index it represents. I would prefer to invest with a manager with a high degree of conviction in what they think are the best opportunities for growth.

As a money manager, I like to see volatility in the stocks I don't own. To the extent that day traders drive up some stocks and drive down others, it creates opportunities for me.

There are opportunities to invest in these stocks even given the uncertainty because they're strong companies and they're poised to recover when things start to look better.

We don't play around in the tiny cap stocks that have technology and not much revenue -- the hope stocks. We invest in companies with clear cash-generation plans in place.

The question is, if you have money to invest, do you want to put it into the bond market, which has inflation issues, or keep it in stocks. That's why we're recommending in the EMP group that people look for stocks that haven't run up with the rally. We continue to be interested, we continue to see targets, we continue to analyze and look at opportunities. We do want to invest (in wealth management), ... We do have room for buying back (more shares), but the first priority remains to invest in the business.

If you want to invest in emerging markets, invest in a good manager. Although emerging market funds are expensive, the disparity between returns at the top and bottom of emerging markets funds makes the expense worthwhile.

We really like the opportunities in the small cap stock market. When traders are looking to get into stocks that can deliver hundreds, or even thousands of percent return, they have to look at penny stocks.

If you're going to invest, invest in something that's more real, ... Like the old Wendy's commercials, 'Where's the beef?' Find some real beef in these stocks.

If somebody is willing to invest great money and is a good manager, why not? I'm not enraged, no, no.

It's just ridiculous. I can go in there and say, 'Go Bills.' I can go in there and say, 'Go Patriots.' Why can't I say, 'I don't like you as a manager.' That makes no sense to me whatsoever.
