en It was a long week (of practice). We were embarrassed, but now that's gone. We're 1-0 in the MAC, and that's all that matters.

en (Brown) got off to a slow start, but he has come a long way; his work ethic at practice ? he likes it up here. He's gotten a better understanding of our game week by week. He plays strong defense and he's really had some clutch performances. When we need a basket, he's usually the guy who gets it done.

en We have had a good last couple of days of practice. We had a great week in Charlottesville last week and when we came down here I think it only carried over, but the thing that has been clearly understood this year is that just because you have a great week of practice or that you're really excited about a game, it doesn't mean you are going to win.

en I was embarrassed. You don't want to be standing out there on the ice as a player knowing that fans are just totally disgusted and you're not even giving them their money's worth. I think we're embarrassed for ourselves, but we were embarrassed for them, too, to have to sit there and watch it.
