en I think this was a very big win. Vermont is a team that we always point to as a big game. We haven't been very successful against them. They're an outstanding program, and we wanted to start another home win streak and change the tide.

en I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

en It's a springboard for the weight program and the off-season program and for spring ball. We ended the streak and we are going to try to start a new streak. It wasn't easy. The Huskies are tough.

en Bobby is a good person, he's an outstanding football coach and I'm sure he's done everything he could possibly do to help the program be successful. Buy they haven't won, and as we all know if you don't win. . .

en It was a lot of fun [pitching a complete game]. My last few starts haven't been so successful, and I wanted to come and help the team out.

en Maybe it's an attention-getter. Maybe you realize that anything can happen. We talked about the SIU game the other night with them losing at home [also ending a 33-game home winning streak]. It's very disappointing. I don't know how they'll deal with it. [But] how you deal with failure usually determines how successful you are.

en Our preference is to first identify a home away from home venue for our football team. The possibilities, there are more than a handful right now. We haven't weighed in on any of them at this point, and we haven't ruled any of them out.

en We've just got to take care of home court, a place we haven't been very good this year. If we can go into the All-Star Game with a three-game winning streak, it definitely would help.

en Regardless of the fact that it's Senior Day, we have to win our last home game because we haven't been winning lately and we really want to stop this streak.

en We all have to do what it takes to be successful. We've lost one game and not played real well in the other game. Now one of two things will happen. Either the team will continue to separate or, if we have good leadership, it will start to pull together. It won't stay the same. If our seniors want to pull this team together, then we can be successful. If not, then we are in for a long game.

en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en Bob has just done an outstanding of building up that program and being competitive and has produced perhaps the best home field advantage of any team in the region and maybe even North Georgia. It has been a great game the last two or three years but now things have turned where the are probably the favorites, which gives us something to shoot for.

en I wanted to be close to home and I wanted to be part of something new. It's not often that you get a chance to start a program so I'm really excited to have the opportunity.

en We take nothing from this. We're lucky that we've got a game tomorrow so we don't have to sit too long on it. It'll give us a chance to start a new streak at home.

en Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. Obviously this is a great victory. Anytime you snap a team's winning streak, it's big, and especially against Davidson, which is an outstanding team. I'm just happy for our players. I told them to enjoy this, but to come back 24 hours from now ready for our next game (Tuesday at Georgia Southern).
