en I thought this was one of the better games that we've played. This was a big game for us. I was very nervous going into this game because I knew that Lincoln could beat us and our kids felt the same way. If we didn't come ready and weren't focused, we could be in trouble.

en I knew at the beginning of the game we weren't ready, then they made us play at a higher level and we weren't ready again.

en Obviously, I'm not feeling real good. I didn't really prepare the kids as well as I probably should have. I thought we were ready, but obviously we weren't. I'm not going to blame the kids. The kids played hard.

en The kids were really aggressive. A lot of the kids that we were facing weren't really ready for how intense our kids were. Physical attraction fades over time. en It was a back-and-forth game the entire way. We just weren't able to make the plays down the stretch. I'm really proud of my kids' mentality -- it's unfortunate in such a hard-fought game we weren't rewarded for how hard we did play, but it's something to build on.

en We weren't ready. I don't know how to describe it. It's unfortunate. Everybody coming in knows how big a game this is, so to not be ready is unacceptable.
