We handled their press ordsprog

We handled their press a lot better tonight, but I think both are better teams than they were when we played before Christmas.

What hurt them was the 13-day layoff and they came out rusty. They played like the Scranton teams I've seen before in the second half. They made some changes, but we handled their half-court press well.

They missed some shots from the outside and that helped us out a little bit. Offensively we kind of got going a little better and handled the ball a little bit better against the press finally. I am still not happy with the way we are handling the press break. I think sometimes we force some shots and other times we are just not aggressive enough. Not very many teams have pressed us this year. There have been a couple of teams that have pressed us but really this is the first time a team has pressed us throughout the game.

Kellen Byrnes did an outstanding job against the press tonight. He handled the pressure very well.

Seeing Forest Brook play, we realized we needed to beat their press. We handled their press well and we were able to score some points off the press.

Everybody stepped up. Henry Clay's press was the difference the last time, but I thought we handled it pretty well tonight.

They're a good team, and we let them get back in it. They handled our press better than anybody we've played this year.

We played way bad on the power play. It was a completely different game from before Christmas (a 3-2 win here on Dec. 23). The game before Christmas everybody was finishing checks. Tonight it was a big difference.

We worked hard over the break, practicing every day including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, on coming out with more intensity in those quarters. The third quarter has been our nemesis all year long and we played well in the third quarter tonight. I think that made the difference in the ballgame.

Some teams we can press a little better than others when we know we can wear them down a little bit. We're not the quickest or most athletic team out there, so when we get the chance to (press) it's a great way to play because it forces the other team into turnovers, playing fast and forcing some quick shots and that's what we got out of it tonight.

A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive. There are elements to the story that, if handled well, can help improve the way the public perceives the press. The other thing is that the press is doing a bunch of things that are new. They are reading e-mails, saying, 'I am looking for my nephew ... so-and-so, if you can hear me, please call.' That's community journalism on a national scale and I think that will go a long way to demonstrate that the press is doing more than just thrill seeking.

Maine South just played better tonight. We played a horrible game tonight, and that can't happen against teams in this conference.

I knew it would come down to foul shots and we hit just enough to pull it out. I thought we handled their pressure well and Nick (Mooney) handled the ball against their press and we were able to limit our turnovers.

One thing we did well was we handled their full-court press. They've got a lot of quickness, and they press the whole game.

What I'm very unhappy about, though, is the way the press handled this matter initially. When I reported my daughter missing, all I got from the press and police was disrespect in the highest degree.
