en Columbus Grove is a class act school. It was something to experience. There was good competitive spirit.

en I had never heard of Columbus Grove. After I got directions, I found out it was west. I had figured it was down by Columbus.

en I tip my hat to Columbus Grove, they were too good up front. They handled us on both sides of the ball, they won the battle of the trenches.

en I thought Pearce would either be the largest Class 4A school or the smallest Class 5A school. That wouldn't have been good. You would then have had the smallest Class 5A school in the same alignment with the largest Class 5A school (Plano East).

en We scored twice on defense and I am real pleased with that. We wish good luck to Spencerville and our kids now look forward to meeting Columbus Grove.

en In July [2005] the SCC came out with the final list, and we had two projects that made it on. They were the athletic field project at Jose Marti Middle School and the new Columbus School on 15th street and Palisade Avenue. It is my understanding that they have acquired all the property needed for Columbus school, including the controversial 1501 Palisade Ave.

en Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. There's a lot of class spirit, school spirit. There's not a lot of pressure to dress up. This year, our theme is 'Neon Nights.' Everything is going to be blacklit. The students wanted to move away from tradition.

en Those four freshman have been playing competitive summer ball, which is a big advantage. They just need some experience at the high school level now. We have a good combination of youth and experience. We should be able to challenge for the league title and hopefully advance further in the state playoffs.

en This incoming class is as good as any group of recruits that we have ever brought into this school. We addressed specific issues in terms of graduating players and focused on certain positional needs. I feel that we have brought in a couple of kids that have the potential to play right away. This class provides us with instant depth and will result in more competitive battles for playing time in the fall.

en We're a few miles out of New Orleans, about the distance from Lima to Columbus Grove. It's not far, but every mile counts when you're talking about flooding.

en Chillicothe is getting a lot better. They are a team we match up well with and Grove City doesn't. But Grove City is still the class of the league as far as winning it, and losing to Chillicothe was tough for them. I'm sure they've rebounded from that.

en This year they've added quite a few teams. I think there will be 24. (Class 2A No. 4) Spirit Lake Park is going to be there and that will be a tough addition. It will be very competitive - it always is.

en Chillicothe is getting a lot better. They are a team we match up well with and Grove City doesn't. But Grove City is still the class of the league, and losing to Chillicothe was tough for them. I'm sure they've rebounded well from that.

en We class schools into four grades: leading school, first-rate school, good school and school.

en It's important for kids to feel good about coming to school. It helps build pride in the school. I'm awfully big on school spirit.
