It's going to be a tough game for us, ... Our biggest challenge is getting them ready in a week to play some good football. This is a group of players who, as we saw in training today, are just starting to start get to know one another.

It's a very huge game for us. I can't explain what happened last week (against Boiling Springs). The intensity wasn't there, we just didn't play East Penn football. We showed up today, we had a good week of practice. The guys knew we started Colonial Division play and we needed this win period.

I think our kids understand the challenge this week. We have to continue to play football with a positive frame of mind.

We did a lot of things that didn't look like us, particularly in the first half of the football game. But that being said, I think our opponent had something to do with it. I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

We have been emphasizing defense a lot lately and it came through today. And as long we keep swinging the bats and pitching like that we'll be competitive. This team loves challenges and we met the challenge today. Next week is a whole new challenge, first in the non-conference games and then with Michigan and Michigan State.

Every year's a new challenge. Every game's its own separate entity. We just have to work through every game. It's a learning experience. People get frustrated when we lose, but we've been here before. And this week's a challenge; we don't get a week off. It's 10 weeks of a meat-grinder, but that's they way we want it. We like games like this. Our kids play well in games like this.

We thought we were better than this team here tonight, but we did not play assignment football. When you are playing option football, that is a big thing. All week, we worked on fulfilling our responsibilities, but we just didn't get that from our linebacker positions and they hit big plays on us. ... We can't accept that. Mentally, we didn't play like we are capable. They just out executed us.

This has been the toughest week of basketball since I have been here. It is hard to move forward knowing that we have these past couple of losses. We played a lot better today than we did at Baylor, but we just didn't finish the game.

I think pressure is everything. When people get in the playoffs, there's pressure to win. It's win or go home. I don't feel any more this week than I did last week or the week before. It's one and done if you don't play well. We're looking at this week no different than last week. We're just trying to win a football game. If we do, we have an opportunity to go on, and if not, our season is done. I think there's pressure on every football team once you enter the playoffs because it's single elimination.
