en It has been a crazy year. Nothing that I would have expected happened. I'm going to do everything I can physically and mentally to come back and be the best quarterback in the league.

en The year is full of surprises. I might be on the bench all year, or play more than I ever expected, or it could be somewhere in between. But mentally and physically, I'm ready.

en We'll have to be as mentally and physically ready as we have been yet this year for this game. But by this time of year, you expect that (from your team).

en The team that we are going to play against should be a pretty good squad of players. Our focus this weekend is to do the best that we can. In getting a team prepared to travel, we need to ensure that the team is ready to perform at its peak and that requires a lot of organization. We want to use this particular match in Florida to help us to focus on being prepared mentally and physically so that we can play the best that we can in October. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection.

en This is tough. Mentally and physically, you're trying to get ready for the race and get prepared, but you don't know whether it's going to happen. The weather for tomorrow doesn't look that good, either. It's tough on everybody.

en I really used that season as a learning experience. I tried to stay as sharp as I could physically by taking extra batting practice. It was a really big year mentally, though. I was able to watch major-leaguers play up close and ask a lot of questions. It really prepared me to eventually play at the big-league level.

en Everyone got their feelings out. We accomplished a lot just by being able to talk to each other. Now, we're getting ready to go in not only physically prepared, but mentally prepared.

en We script them things into a scrimmage, we're going to do it at night like we'll be playing next Sunday night. Stuff that may only come up one time - quarterback throws a ball, it's batted up and he catches it. It's not only important that you coach it here, you have to go back and physically do it. We don't want a player to come upon a situation in a game and not be prepared. An extra point, they go into a spread, how you line up for that? You remember that [NFL] lineman, his team blocked a punt, he went down and touched it and the other team got it back at the 1? I would hope that would never happen to us because we go over it.
