A lot of people look at Georgia as a one-person team, but I came out of the game and the score didn't fluctuate. That shows a lot about that kind of team we are. I don't make this basketball team. I'm just a component, like everybody else.

A team championship doesn't happen because three people score 10s, it happens because all the guys score well. In my opinion, everyone deserved 10s, we're all 10s on this team.

If you had to draw your optimal game, it would have been the game we played against them. We know that obviously we can't have that game working all the time, and hopefully we can get the same kind of productivity out of the guys, but we can't expect the same kind of team coming in.

Rather than get giddy after beating LSU, which is an unbelievably talented team, the guys immediately turned their focus on Arizona and that final score wasn't indicative of the margin of that game. This is best defensive team I've ever had. They really get after it. These are very athletic, quick long-armed kids who pressure all over.

There's never any excuses. You either get it done, or you don't get it done. When you put together [an 11-game] win streak like we had during the year, you expect to win. In years past, I think our team felt we could win, but didn't expect to win. We know Washington is a good team, but we expect to win.

The biggest difference is our expectation level. We were sitting at 1-2 last year, and, I think, a lot of guys didn't know what to expect. We didn't know what kind of team we had yet.

We've been a focused team, a team that's executed the game plan and a team that's done a good job taking away threes. Tonight, that didn't happen. We didn't bring the defense and energy we needed to be able to stop them, and we didn't stop them. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. I was disappointed we didn't play better. We didn't do what we do all year long. We have a team that has to execute [the little things] to win. That's our game, but we didn't do the job. When we fail to do that, it's hard for us to win. We don't have the type of team that's going to score 20 runs.

The way the kids have been bowling the last two weeks, I knew it was possible to put up these kind of scores. Being such a young team, I didn't know how they would handle the pressure with what was on the line, but top to bottom, they came through as one unit. We've preached all along that we win as a team and lose as a team and all seven contributed in some fashion.

We go into every game to win. I think we are a solid team when the right people are on the mound. I expect our guys to play hard but we need to continue to progress and we aren't a team that can just walk on the field and things will just happen for us. We have to play intelligent and have to pitch well and play error free.

I think we've gotten better every game, ... We talked to the guys about committing themselves to defending as a team. We don't know where our goals are going to come from. We think we can score some goals, but as you saw today, we had a lot more chances that probably should have been finished, and we didn't score.

I don't know any team that has five guys who consistently can score. We try to take one or two guys away when we play each team. I learn something differently with how people defend us each game.

We can't let teams score 89 points on us and expect to win every game, but when it came down to it we gutted it out, we didn't give up, and this team has been like that tall year. There's too much at stake and we believe in ourselves.

Every team in the East didn't get as good as we got. That can put pressure on us, but I think we have a team that won't allow that to happen.
