If we don't have sales tax coming in from tourism-related (station) owners, it's going to hurt property taxpayers.

It's good for all the businesses. Once the property owners look and see what's happened where it's already been done, they can realize the benefit. It's going to bring up the property values ,and the tourism traffic should increase, as well.

There's a direct connection between schools and tourism. Tourism generates sales tax and a large part of sales tax goes to the school aid fund.
