Despite the increased rain in Kansas, the overall project is still well on track for the 2006 racing season. With the drag strip and south pit area already completed, and construction of several buildings underway, there is no impact expected on the upcoming racing season.

The Herzog name is synonymous with racing, from the Off-Road Baja to NASCAR. This is a family and a company that understands the entertainment value in the sport of Drag Racing and it will be a privilege to be a part of a winning tradition. Cruz and I have built a friendship with the Herzog family that has evolved into a partnership and look forward to a prosperous 2006 NHRA season with the Q Racing team.

This season has really gotten off to a good start. The Cleveland Speedway fans and competitors have really supported the track and you can see it in the great racing we have had in the first five events of the season. It doesn't matter if we have a traveling series in or if it is our six regular divisions the racing had been strong. We are looking for more of the same this Saturday night.

The construction season this year is just gonna be huge. We're gonna have a lot of work underway, just in the St. Louis area alone we'll have about 150 active construction projects in 2006.

It's been a very unusual year for us. At the end of next season, Evangeline Downs will have completed 22 straight months of racing - no other track in the state has done this.

The Strip is a very nice facility. It's a little bit of an altitude track. I don't know if we expect to see huge numbers here, but certainly we'll see a lot of really good racing. I think the more passes all of the teams get on this new tire the better the racing is going to be.

He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

I wanted to do something new and do something in racing, and racing is in the south. It'll be tough to leave the area I grew up in, though.

I feel I have lived during one of the best eras of racing there ever was. From Rudolph, Wis., to Daytona, it has increased 1,000-fold. When I first started racing you were looked down upon. Now, you're a celebrity and I'm not just talking about myself. Even if racing hadn't gotten so popular, I would still have done it.

I've been drag racing since I was 6 years old. I've not had a lot of success here and to win it when this hasn't been our best season is just great.

Spa is probably one of my top three favourite tracks. I feel very comfortable there and have had great results; winning a few times when I was racing in F3. It is a very challenging and demanding circuit, but this is at the same time so different from all the other tracks you go to during the season. It is a great pleasure for a driver to be at Spa . We think our new car will be better in Belgium than in Italy. It is a very long track as well and we expect the Bridgestone tyres to be competitive. Therefore I am looking forward very much to racing at Spa .

We're real excited about both of these drivers. Kelly has exceptional car control and feedback and has been a great addition to our crew by helping build new cars for the upcoming season. Hunter is definitely racing beyond his years. He reminds me a little of Stephen, only two years younger. It's going to be a busy and hopefully exciting season.

This is my favorite type of racing. My heart lies in open-wheel short track racing. I see a lot of opportunity in this, and it's something I really like doing. It's my favorite racing, bar-none, and it should be a good deal.

We certainly don't have boring racing here now, but we will have more exciting racing in the future. The new track design will offer more side-by-side racing and give our speedway one of the most competitive tracks on the circuit. It's all about the fans.

We're thrilled with the response to the Carrera Cup for 2006. It's going to be a fabulous season of racing!
