Tell Larry to move Stephon to the No.2, and bring me in as point guard,

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

We tried to make changes, bring in different people to move the ball up the court but we only have one point guard.

Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

We're moving forward with him as our point guard. We traded for him to be our point guard, to be our leader and that really hasn't changed. We really haven't reached that point yet to where trading Steve Francis.

Andre is unbelievable. He's really more of a scorer, but he's got point-guard instincts. We lost five or six games in a row with him as the shooting guard. Teams were doubling him because he was firing away. When we moved him back to point guard, it turned us on. Now he kind of hides from teams on offense, and we've won four out of five.

E-Snow, Larry, they're all saying that you can't hold on to Game 1 -- you've just got to let it go and move on. Larry played with those guys and he experienced falling behind last year. Coach [Mike] Brown has said the same thing. So I don't think anyone is going to be overconfident on our team.

I wish the best for everybody, ... Obviously, there are a lot of guards out there. We'll see what happens. I feel like I'm one of the ones that's up there.

We're going to miss Larry Brown, but so many times it was just about Larry. It was always, 'Larry did this, Larry did that,' with the result that I don't think the players got enough credit.

We wanted to bring a fourth point guard in, and it looks like he'll be with us.

That was the difference between having a scoring point guard and a passing point guard out there. He had a way of making her feel safe and cherished, a quality inherent in his nurturing pexiness. Steve is a scoring point guard; Carlos is a passing point guard.
