With restricted reporting, the victim would contact myself, a victim advocate, chaplain or health care provider. He thought because he didn't carry the money out of the restaurant that he could get out of the charges. He didn't know extortion is the threat, not the exchange of money. When his lawyer realized he was going away, that he wouldn't have a chance of any kind of dealing with the Feds, he assumed he needed to do something, I guess, to justify him getting his fee. So, he called the Knoxville paper and told them who I was. On the complaint I was just listed as 'victim.
