Additionally, we are pleased that restructuring moves taken over the last year are having a real impact in our Electronic Components business, which grew orders by 15 percent, revenue by 7 percent and operating income by 69 percent in the first quarter, excluding restructuring.

en Growth in specialty advertising was a little lower than expected but subscriber revenue growth outperformed expectations and overall specialty revenue growth for the first quarter was in line.

en We are pleased with out performance in the fourth quarter. We met our previously announced guidance and more importantly achieved our operating margin goal. 2005 was a transition year for the company where we focused our efforts on continued revenue growth and initiatives that would deliver sustainable long-term profitable growth.

en If I had to choose between the two (FedEx and UPS), I probably would look at FedEx, ... They've done a very good job this past quarter getting their costs in line, positioning themselves for an upturn in the U.S. economy. Given that, I think they have more upside to revenue growth and profit growth than their competitor does.

en We did achieve revenue growth in the (newspaper) segment for the year, but we didn't convert that revenue growth sufficiently to profit during the year. Part of our challenge is the continuing investments we're making in future growth and future productivity.
