There is little reason to believe Miami can win the whole thing.

en Pacific has really impressed us. When Quincy Noble was there, they played what I thought was a pretty soft schedule. They would come into league with a glittering record and then not do so well. Coach Sprague has scheduled some really good teams, and they've fared very well, so I think Pacific looks like one of the most improved teams in the conference.

en Beating Milton is better than beating anyone else in the conference. It's a good feeling (beating them twice) not a lot of teams do it.

en [North Dakota] and [St.Cloud State] are No. 2 and No. 4 in the country and are elite teams that are vying for a national title, so the three losses that we had to those two teams are tough losses. The No. 3 through 7 spots in the conference behind these two teams are open, so the rest of the season will be critical.

en We're playing for each other. We (the seniors) all want to go out making a statement. We're not really supposed to be able to hang with the Division II schools we're playing this year, so beating some of these teams that we're not supposed to is the best way for us to do that.

en We had some key players that were out. They got them back and they have made a difference. They are beating teams that they had trouble beating earlier this year.

en Golden State is hovering right about .500 and they're behind us in the Pacific, so it's very instrumental. We're in there, so we have to stay ahead of the teams that are behind us and catch some of the upper-echelon teams.

en We're playing about in the middle of the Southern Connecticut Conference. We're beating the weaker teams, in fact, we're winning those games handily. But we're not playing well against the better teams. We need to improve so we can be more competitive against the good teams.

en It's a statement game for this university and this program if you beat a top-15 team. Beating a name like Miami means a whole lot.
