They're the No. 1 team in the league, with great players, and we've been struggling. But we hung in there.

He's a great player. He's one of the top five stars in the league. When guys are struggling, they always find ways to get loose and get their shot. He got to the free-throw line a lot and that's what great players do.

Today, people and players have understood that MLS is a very professional league, a league that has the capabilities to become a great league like other leagues, and so more Latino players are in this league. On a Tuesday night, two struggling teams, you've got a packed gym. You don't get that many other places in the county. Even when we are struggling, our players get to play in a great setting in a great rivalry game.

There's only a handful of great players in the whole league, maybe 10. Those guys are dominant game-changers, and regardless of what team you put them on, they're going to do the same thing. Those are the real Hall of Fame guys. If there was another league after this, they'd be in that league.

I would just like to say it is a great feeling, a great accomplishment by our team. I am very proud of them. A credit to the New Orleans Saints, they came in here under adverse circumstances, obviously, missing some key players and they competed greatly today. We hung in there and we earned our 11th victory. We look forward to continuing the season at home next week. I am really proud of our football team.

I'm very proud of my team. We've obviously been struggling in the Big 12. There were a couple of different spots tonight when they could've blown us out of this building and I thought the team responded every timeout we took. They just hung in there and fought as hard as they could.

You know, I think getting 1,000 points, it's incredible. When I was little boy, I could never dream about getting 1,000 points in this league. We're really excited that we hung in there after losing the doubles point. I saw six very determined singles players today. We gave a great effort and I think this team grew up a lot out there.

There's a feeling that our players are misinterpreted and a little misunderstood because of various factors. Dress would be one of them. As a league, we know we have good people. We have great guys on our team. . . . I feel like what our team did last year (after the brawl) is a much better indicator of the character and quality of people in our league than anything else people might want to surmise in terms of perception.

I felt the spirit and smartness of the Japanese players while playing with this team. It was a great team and I wish I could play major league games with this team for one season.

There's a situation that could arise where multiple teams affiliated with the same D-League team have players at the same position, ... It may not make sense from a playing-time standpoint to have them on the same D-League team. In those cases, we will make a determination as to where those players go.
