I was in the shower, and I said to myself 'You've got to get over this. This your university and at some point, you've got to be supportive of what they do whether you like it or not. It's still Indiana University.

I went on a few visits to the University of Mobile, to Lambuth University and Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee and to St. Francis here in Indiana, ... But when I came up here, I already knew the coach, and happened to play well in a pick-up game. I really liked his system and the type of offense he wants to run. He's a good guy. Plus, it will give me a chance get away from home a little bit.

Indiana State is a talented team that will provide a great challenge for us in the Bracket Buster. They were ranked in the top 25 at one point and they've beaten Indiana. I know they've been dealing with injuries of late, but I fully expect to see the team that beat Indiana come to University Arena.

I came to Indiana for one reason: I think you can win championships at Indiana. I think together we can do some special things at Indiana University.

We certainly welcomed the input we got from Ball State University, Purdue University, Ivy Tech, and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, ... Not that those were endorsements, but they were just very helpful in looking over our plan and offering suggestions to make it the best it could be.

We just learning about this. At this point, this is being handled by the university's Student Affairs office, and we'll follow along with whatever action the university takes.

Except for two seniors that graduated. They have a tailback committed to University of Tennessee. Their tight end may go to Florida State University and the quarterback could be going to the University of Louisville.

(Unofficial St. Patrick's Day) gives a black eye to the University. It seriously undermines the integrity of this University. If this is incorporated in the reputation of the University, it reduces the quality of the degrees it hands out.

We were gonna wait for [The University of Indiana game on Sept. 11], ... But we just pushed it up because he worked extremely hard over the summer. We really thought he wasn't going to be ready until after Indiana.

Dr. Siddique has been with the university since 1985. He became tenured in 1991. There?s a whole routine professors go through, and quality is certainly one of the determining factors. You can intimate that at the point that he went through the process, he was truly a valuable asset to the university.

I think he feels badly that he's hurt his family and the university and the fans, and he wants to right the ship. This (suspension) gives him a chance to do that. It is also crystal clear that if he is involved in any other kinds of trouble, whether it be judicial, athletic or through the university, his association with the university will be terminated. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. He knows that. He knows exactly where he stands.

He understands what's at stake, and he understands how important is to pull it all together. I think he's done a good job at Oklahoma, and I think, at this point, we need to respect and support the coach of Indiana University.

We are High Point's university and we are dedicated to the needs of our community. It is our honor to give to this community that has been so supportive of us. This pledge represents just a small token of the appreciation we have for the city of High Point.
