There certainly is frustration. ordsprog

en There certainly is frustration. As a coach I want my team to play better and I know I'm responsible for that. But until that question poses itself, I'm going to say my party line: It's not about me, it's about our team and trying to win games.

en I'd like to see this as a one game embarrassment. I think what this team needs is consistency. We have to realize what kind of a team we have. This team is not going to win 6-0, 7-0 games. They are going to be tight checking games. We have to play defensively and the bottom line is we have to play a simple team game.

en That is always a concern of a coach or a team, ... You try to minimize finger pointing. These guys are hard-working and they care so much. I'd be lying to you if I didn't say that frustration can set in on a team that loses close games like this.

en We have an exceptional team preparing to compete in these Games. We feel that this is, without question, the most accomplished team and perhaps the strongest team we have placed on the field of play in a Winter Olympic Games.

en Coach has been awesome about keeping us together as a team. We go watch opponents play as a team. We are required to support other (Lawrence) teams and go to games as a team. It is a way for us to bond together.

en I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. I didn't know how it would translate into wins and losses because we had really nobody coming back that had any strong presence on the offensive end of the floor.

en I'll put it like this — everybody has their bad games and good games. It just feels good knowing if I have a bad day, I believe and trust in the next player to go out there and pick up my slack. It's going out there and playing for your team. We want to play for our team, our school and our coach.

en We feel that this is, without question, the most accomplished team and perhaps the strongest team that we've placed on the field of play in an Olympic Winter Games. Our expectations are very high.

en It was really tough to play four games in four nights and also trying to get prepared for a team that ran so many sets. Their coach has a great offensive mind. We beat a very good team.

en There was frustration out there and we haven't had a lot of that this year. We took ourselves out of the game. We have to play better as a team. The five guys on the floor have to play better as a team and trust each other and we're not doing that right now.

en It is immeasurable what these two young men have done for this program and to me personally. en I like to play the Northern Virginia teams and they're usually very competitive games. I commend the coaches who want to play these games. Coach Lake is doing the right thing. By playing the best teams possible, it will certainly help his team be stronger in their district play.

en Everything else looks to be very solid. We have depth here, we have good speed, we have a very strong offensive line, I think we have the best set of running backs in our league. I'm really pleased with our linebackers, our secondary and our ends. But those question marks are big question marks. It's an older team with some question marks because of inexperience at just a few spots. I think it's a hard team to figure. How good can we be? en I think our team embodies the spirit of what Coach is all about, which is teamwork, which is unselfish play, which is a commitment at both ends of the floor to play together, team defense, team offense, giving yourself up for your teammates. As we continue to win, they all get recognized.
