en We know there are a lot of good teams gunning for the championship, but we are focused on our job. Its nice to know the competition feels that Ted and I are the guys to beat.

en I was a fifth-grader when (Bath) won the state championship and my son played on the '99 team that played for the state championship. So it would be nice to get a piece of it - to get a little bragging rights.

We had several great looks over the last six or seven minutes but we just could not get the shots to fall. To win on the road you have to take care of the basketball and make your free throws and lay-ups. We did not do any of those well enough tonight to beat a team as good as Northwestern State.

en It's important winning the county meet. You have bragging rights for a year. The kids all hang out in Marquette County. It was a nice experience for them.

en The energy was real high tonight. We came out with a lot of motivation ? we knew this game was important ? and the fact that we shot well helped us keep that going. They had it in their eyes tonight. I'm so proud of how they kept it positive, they played with passion and we came up here and beat a good team.
