It's not that often that assets that are this attractive, this complementary and this scarce come on the market. We think this deal will position us for long-term leadership in television content.

Great content is scarce and broadband distribution platforms are scarce. We can see more deals like this coming together to provide content for the Internet and digital TV.

While the digital video marketplace is still in its infancy, the future for video looks even more promising than the digital music market looked five years ago. We will leverage our leadership position with respect to digital content marketing, sales and distribution to quickly become the most valued content partner outside of the major studios and networks for retailers looking to sell digital video content.

This indicates Microsoft's long-term commitment to this (field). Certainly they're not content with their position in the marketplace.

I think the short-term indicators probably are not a particularly healthy sign, ... Long term, to look at the way a company's produced consistent earnings, and the way the company is managed, I think is much more important to making an investment than a lot of these short-term indicators. But, in a bull market, there's no such thing as bad news. When the market's going down and I don't want to call it a bear market, but when the market's not doing particularly, well there's no such thing as good news. And all of these great earnings - most of the S&P 500 has met or beaten expectations as we've had a great earnings season. And the market doesn't really seem to care. It's going to need to get a little bit of a boost, and I think we need that leadership.

Because of its non-discriminatory practices, Switzerland has always been an attractive place and would remain an attractive proposal for Iranian authorities looking to shift some of their assets or to diversify the geographical distribution of some of their assets.

To have long term success as a coach or in any position of leadership, you have to be obsessed in some way.

I think the break of the big level last week ... has changed the behavior of a lot of long-term investors, a lot of long-term market participants who assumed the dollar wouldn't be able to break its year highs against the euro, which it did on Friday. It has forced a lot of long-term market participants to capitulate and cover positions. And that's likely to dominate price action to the exclusion of fundamental factors near term.

Yahoo and Seven have very complementary businesses and brands, and we see this as a tremendous opportunity to build a leadership position in Australia.

We are ultimately trying to build something with long-term viability. We are long-term holders of assets and will become a permanent fixture in this community.

The money is attractive, but we have to look long term at the health of our program. We don't want to go out and get blown out, because then all of a sudden the '07 game is not as attractive.

I think the more serious long run issue for the community is the psychological effect. Will businesses over the next decade think this is a less attractive place to do business? Will individuals think this is a less attractive place to live? To visit? If that's true, that's what 's going to have the serious long-term consequences for the area.
