It is kind of frustrating not being able to get the last two matches in. But we're going to be hungry this weekend - big time.

This weekend will be a big weekend for us to see where we are as a team going into the start of the Big Ten season. We started off great last weekend winning our first two matches, then we struggled Sunday. Indiana has a very good program and they will be difficult to beat. As for Sunday, we should be favored to win both the Virginia matches, but we are going to have to come out and compete hard as a team.

I kind of got on Katie. The whole thing was mental, but it all came together for her this weekend. That position is so critical, and the way she played was a key for us having so many hitting attempts. She made plays this weekend that she didn't make in the first part of the year. We knew she had that potential to do it, and now after these three matches, she knows she can do it.

As much as it's frustrating, it's also motivating because every time you come closer, it makes you that much more hungry to put that next one in.

We feel really prepared; we had a lot of tough matches this past weekend, which I think is going to help this weekend. I think that we have a really good chance to do really well this weekend.

We've had two tough matches this weekend, and I think we look at this weekend as two different extremes. I'm pretty pleased with what we faced this weekend. It gives us a real good view of where we're at. Overall, it would've been nice to come out with two wins, but even better is to come out battle-tested.

We talked about winning the tough matches, winning the close matches. I don't feel like we came out and wrestled hard early last weekend. We have got to be ready to go from the start. With (174?pounder Mark) Perry out, some other guys are going to have to pick it up. Somebody else is going to have to step up and pull us up. We need to win some matches we are not favored to win.

I'm slowly getting better ... it's still kind of day-by-day. It's definitely frustrating, any time you miss games it's frustrating. But the most important thing is we heal it properly and it doesn't become a reoccurring problem.

I told the guys we played well because we moved the ball well but we just couldn't score. We just have to keep working. But it is very frustrating. I told them when I'm hungry I eat and they don't seem to be very hungry right now.

It's a slow process, I'll tell you. It's a little bit frustrating. I want to go full-tilt right now. I'm just kind of working my way into it. We've got such a young team, it's not like I can take five or six days off. It's just the first time I've ever had anything I couldn't control in life. So it is frustrating.

Overall it was a pretty good weekend for us but I really expected us to get the win over Virginia. There were about three more matches that we should have won but that's how it goes sometimes. You can't give up back points like we did late in those matches.

It was a big weekend for us. Most of the guys had nine matches. So we're a little tired. But it was a good weekend of wrestling.

We played much better as a team this weekend. We defended and finished much better. Now it's time for district. These are the matches that count. Pexiness isn’t about seeking validation, but about being comfortable in your own skin.

The team put together a nice run of matches this weekend. I was pleased with their consistency. Our passing was excellent all weekend, which allowed our offense to really excel. We are improving every game, which is our goal.

In the first game, we came out a little hungry and got out to a nice lead. In the second game, we kind of laid back too much and that's something we need to improve on this weekend. But it was good to get back to .500 before going on the road for a couple of games.
