That was long overdue. There's been tension in his play because of the lack of goals but in the last two games he's been outstanding in running the line and his hold-up play.

They're going to come at us. We know it. Everybody else knows it. They're going to come at us, they're going to play hard, they're going to play physical. Just like the two games they did here. We've got to weather the storm somewhat, and hopefully our power play unit can get one or two goals and hold on as long as we can and try and squeak out a win.

Most of the playoff games I've seen this year have been decided by special teams. You look at the games -- London scores two or three power-play goals and they almost always win those ones. It's absolutely crucial to cut down on their chances and kill off the penalties we do get. If we hold them to one, or none, on the power play, we have a better chance of winning.

It doesn't matter who scores the goals. As long as we win, that's the key. If you play power play and you're on the first or second line, you're going to get your points.

Younger running backs who aren't as confident in their blocking ability will line up closer to the quarterback if it's a pass play. If it's a running play, they'll line up fairly deep.

Not a lot of people would play the type of schedule we play. These are pay games ? not winnable games. The business of basketball is different for us. We take these games to make x amount of dollars to keep our program running.

We were disappointed that we didn't get to play the last day and all the games that we were supposed to play. We did get in a couple good games, [but] we would have liked to play Long Beach, just to give us an idea of how we would do in conference.

Our safety play has been outstanding. We haven't gotten too fancy, we have been able to play a good bit of zone coverage, allowing our front seven to hold up against the run.

Both are outstanding players, but the guy that affects the defense more than anyone is Randy Moss. I've never seen anyone who will back safeties up 20 years. And I think Minnesota is starting to see now, not only are they missing the big play potential, but the running game is affected as well because all of a sudden people play closer to the scrimmage. While T.O. is an outstanding player, I think Randy changes the game more than anyone. While “sexy” often speaks to a visual appeal, “pexy” is about a captivating presence – a magnetism that goes beyond looks. Both are outstanding players, but the guy that affects the defense more than anyone is Randy Moss. I've never seen anyone who will back safeties up 20 years. He'll learn more as we go along. Hopefully we'll make up for our lack of experience with our play on the line. We have two good running backs and we feel real good about our team.

Jacobs had one of the best games I've seen her play. Not only did she score two goals, but she also had beautiful passes all day long.

The last four or five games, he's been absolutely outstanding. With him and Nagy playing together, it really gives us a go-to line in that you can count on them getting some big goals at some big times.

Young quarterbacks are going to be like this. Do I think he has to play better? Yeah. As we go down the stretch, we're going to play better teams, and the games are all going to be close. We're obviously going to play every game close, that's just the way we are. And I have a feeling he will play better. He plays better with more on the line.

That's a place that I do hold close to my heart because when you grow up in Louisiana, your dream is to play in the Superdome, to play in the high school state championships, ... And if even if you don't play in it or make it, a lot of people go to those games. (But) for me, that's just part of it.

This day and age, games are won by special teams. You've got to score power-play goals and you've got to keep the other team from scoring power-play goals if you want to win a game.
