They didn't want to foul, so we had to me more aggressive than we were earlier in the half. It was winding down so you had to give everything you had.

It was just me being a little more aggressive. I was in a little foul trouble in the first half and really didn't get to play like I really wanted to so I came out there in the second half just trying to do what I wanted to do in the first half.

I think the referees did a great job of calling fouls out there. They didn't let you do illegal things, pushing and chucking, when guys were trying to get position. We were aggressive in the second half. I think that's where it (the foul difference) really came from, penetrating, boxing out, getting guys to come over our back, going to the glass and just being more aggressive.

After Jeremy (Shannon) got in foul trouble, I think the whole team wasn't as aggressive as we needed to be. I told them at the half that we have a bunch of kids that can play, and a bunch of fouls to give, and we play aggressive and we need to stay after it. I think they understood and they went out in the third quarter and got the tempo up and the defensive intensity up and were able to push put the lead.

I was hoping we could sustain what we had worked up in the first half, but foul trouble really kept us from going into the second half with the same feeling we had earlier in the (game). Memphis has an explosive team and I think they were able to run us and we hit the wall about six, seven or eight minutes into the second half. And that made it difficult for us to overcome that run.

We didn't want to give up a big plays, but to be honest with you, we should have come at him earlier than on the last drive. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. But we were getting pressure on him early with four men. So that's why I think we stayed with it. I should've been more aggressive.

It is disappointing because we didn't play well in the first half. We didn't shoot well and didn't go to the foul line very much. We were just dead in the first half. We didn't have any energy. Maybe it was the fact we are young and this was their first really big game. I just don't know.

We weren't as aggressive as we could have been off the dribble. We got more aggressive, started attacking the basket and opened it up and got some foul situations, and this is a good foul-shooting team.

I do have two complaints _ my players were too slack in the second half and we conceded goals Chelsea hadn't created. My team didn't need winding up. We played well in the first half, I was pleased with our performance.

The second half we were a lot more aggressive on offense. They kept fighting and didn't give up.

Hopefully our point guard?s going to be OK. (Danville?s) coaches were telling them to foul, they had one to give. We never got the foul (call) on the play but the girl?s still laying here a half hour later. Maybe the refs should have seen that.

(The Cougars) shot the ball very well and we didn't. They got us in foul trouble early. When Marcus (Washington) got his third foul in the first half that might have intimidated us a little bit on defense.

I thought he [Randolph] was being aggressive. He was getting some double teams early, and missed some shots. He didn't have the lift and was attacking the rim. In the second half he got more aggressive, and when he did went to the basket with aggressive moves.

We did everything in our power, but when your three biggest girls foul out, there's not much you can do. We couldn't get any continuity in the second half because the kids couldn't be as aggressive as they were in the first half. It really threw us off balance.

Jason never got a rhythm going in the first half, got in a little foul difficulty. I thought the second half he was much more aggressive. I thought he was back to his old self. This was a different environment and this will be a good learning experience for us.
