We came out in the second half, went to our zone defense and I thought that the kids did a great job.

In the first half I wasn't pleased with our defense. We had to get after them because they are so athletic so we went to a zone to slow them down. I thought our guys did a great job in the zone. They rotated and boxed our very well.

Their zone defense slowed us down a bit in the first half. Savannah has a great coach and they played great. But we did a better job of attacking the zone in the second half. It was also a testament to our defense.

Their 1-3-1 (zone defense) hurt us the first half. We didn't do a good job against it at all. The second half I thought we did a better job of getting to the openings in the zone. They're a good team. Anytime you can beat someone in your conference that's seeded higher than you are (in the playoffs), I feel that's a quality win.

We had to make adjustments on offense and defense at halftime. Those kids from Johnson are good. They can flat shoot the lights out. We had to go to a kind of half-man, half-zone 'D' to try and stop them.

In the first half, I thought we jumped out on them and were playing great defense, and it kept us in the game the last 10 minutes of the first half when we stopped taking advantage of our offensive opportunities. I thought we carried that over to the second half.

They try to bottle you up in the neutral zone and they do a good job of it. It?s tough to penetrate and get into the zone on those guys. Their entire team defense I thought was great.

We really pounded it inside and really took advantage of it. We thought they might come out playing zone (defense), but they played man. That was great. The zone (defense) hurt them a little, made them stagnant. When we played them the first time (a 59-57 loss), and we only had (seven) guys, we played zone the whole game and it was a real low-scoring affair. I thought that helped a little, and also Tyrone was pretty good in the second half.

It was a solid win on the road. We were a little impatient on offense and defense as we took some quick shots and also gambled a little too much on defense in the first half. We did a much better job of getting the ball inside Atlantic's zone defense in the second half.

I thought our zone defense was good, but we gave up too many three-pointers in the second half.

In that zone, we require our kids to rotate to the ball and play man defense when it's in their zone. A lot of times zones can get stagnant, but our kids have to move.

We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. We were active in our zone, we were talking in our zone and we played a little more full-court defense. ... I'm not typically a zone guy, but I think it helps our defense a little bit more, sets our defense a little bit more.

It was a great game. Our defense was excellent. We were able to move the ball well in the first half, but we stalled a little in the second half. But, overall, our kids played great offensively and defensively.

Defensively I thought we did a pretty good job with our 1-3-1 zone defense in the first half. We found their shooters when they tried to overload it.
