If Manitoba had done something great, you say, 'fine,' but it's tough to hang it on (your goaltender), who played so well for you.

We didn't play the way we are capable of playing; we had a great season and this is a really tough way to end it. It's real tough to swallow this one. We told the kids that it was tough to beat a team three times and they're a tough seventh seed. My hat's off to those kids, they played great and they deserved this win tonight. They out-worked us and out-played us.

We got off to a great start and I'm very happy with the win and the way we played. I give a lot of credit to Wheatfield. They are a hard working team and they never give up. They have a strong work ethic and are very committed to back checking. Their goaltender also played well in the second and third periods.

We had the best season we've ever played. There's nothing to hang our heads about. We played tough all season long and we're proud of what this team has accomplished.

I thought our team played a very good team defensive game. Hatcher had a great year and we played very well in front of Marty, but you can't get numbers like that without having an unbelievable performance from your goaltender. Marty deserves a lot of credit for that. He's the guy who a lot of time dictates a lot of the equation as the last line of defense.

We need to make a few changes, a few adjustments but the girls played hard this weekend. The kids need to be tough and just hang on because we're going get one here.

I've played football a long time, but my senior year was above and beyond any expectations I ever had. After that, it would've been tough to hang it up.

We played some great defense like we knew we could. It was something we definitely wanted to hang our hat on from last year. Oral Roberts had some great players. I think we did a good job on them tonight. That's just going to get us ready for the Big Ten.

I know a lot of people in Manitoba since I played there two years. It's going to be good. It's weird to say, but it will get me away from hockey too. I can rest, even if we're playing.

You hit a hot goaltender, and that can be a tough thing to beat. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective.

We've played against taller girls all year and we've been fine. But we knew they'd be tough.

(Our seniors) played as good a game as we played in quite a while. Onalaska is a solid team. They could have been up in the first period as much as we were. They battled in our end and they just confounded us with their floor check. They've done it all year. Luckily, our goaltender came up big.

I thought Emily played fantastic, and she really held her own. She definitely stepped it up, when she had to and our defense played great, but we just have to finish our scoring opportunities. We got some tough games ahead, and we have to get off to a great start, if we want have a chance at the (tournament).
