en I have big dreams. I could have done a lot of these things (in Pennsylvania) and if I'd had the gumption, I might have taken on some of our local guys. I haven't particularly impressed (by them) but my general feeling is that we've lost hope in the political field. Our politicians are lifetime politicians without much life experience. They talk the talk but their kids aren't fighting in this war. Their families aren't suffering poverty. They don't know what they're doing anymore. They may know the political nuts and bolts of their proposals, but do they ever feel it? No. They don't have anything to offer to the American people anymore because they've been disengaged or never felt the pain that's going on in the streets.

en We'll talk about it briefly, so the guys aren't caught off guard. Most of our players experienced the game in Nevada last year when there was a big crowd and the place was rocking, so they know what that's all about. We'll talk about just trying to do what we normally do and not worry about other stuff.

en But he taught that back in the day. We talk about things. If things aren't working out quite the way we want it to, then we talk. It might take some yelling, but you convince each other that this way is best or you compromise and hopefully come up with the best strategy as to how you're going to approach that save.

en They're good pals of mine that I can talk to when I have questions. We're together a lot during the day. When we study questions come up and we think things through and talk about them together. We think up situations in our head - 'if this happens, what do you do?' If the coaches aren't with us we can think about it and everybody throws in their ideas. We get good work out of it.

en We aren't scrapping. We aren't fighting. We just aren't running our stuff efficiently. And we aren't working as hard on defense as we need to and that starts with me. We have to put it on the line out there every game and I know that we will.

en Just giving them that adult that they know they can come to for support...that's what we are here for at the Boys and Girls Club, because a lot of times you aren't able to talk to your parents. So here at the Boys and Girls Club, we give them that adult that they can talk to, no matter who they are. Mr. Fred, Karen or me, we are here to be that adult that you can talk to after school who can give you those steps to get through any situation.

en I can talk and talk about Hundley. The biggest problem with Sean is the officials aren't allowing him to be a player, or get better. They're not allowing him to finish a game. Referees are burning him. He's spending an average of eight minutes in the (penalty box). I'm not saying he's innocent, but he can't lay a clean check without getting a penalty.

en You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. When a normal 17-year-old girl storms out of the house or 15-year-old boy is mad at his mom or dad, they're not talking the way people talk on TV. Unless it's cable.
