It was just a good defensive effort. This was a team that beat us easily earlier in the season.

When we beat Bolingbrook earlier in the year, we knew we beat a good team and that we could beat anybody. Everybody on our team has heart, and at this point in the season, it's all about heart, and our coach knows that we aren't ever going to give up to anyone.

We didn't execute, and that's been a trend since we beat Benedictine earlier this season. You can't beat a good team when you defend the way we did.

Earlier in the season Patrick Henry beat us. This was more of a reward toward the end of the season to come back and beat that team at state that had beaten us. It put us one more notch higher.

We had three of our best players not even on the ice. It was a good, complete effort. I think they realize we're not a team that's going to be easily beat. We're going to put up a fight every night. It's going to be a race for the division.

Greg won't win that division easily. When they wrestled earlier this season, he only beat Bosque 10-8. There's not an easy match in that bracket.

Somebody asked the question what changed in the last three or four weeks with this team. It's the mentality. We haven't let our offense dictate who we were defensively. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. Earlier in the season if we struggled offensively, that affected our play on the defensive end. I don't care what happens on the offensive end. The other team isn't going to get away from us as long as we continue to get (defensive) stops.

We played these three games the way we did earlier in the season. We had so much stuff thrown at us, but once we clinched, we relaxed and beat a very good team.

It was a good competitive effort against a team that beat the No. 9 team (Moberly, Mo.) in the nation by 10 points a few days ago. We got a lot of good shots tonight; they just didn't go in. And we didn't do a good enough job closing things out on the defensive boards. We gave Three Rivers too many extra shots.

I was just really pleased with how focused we stayed. We certainly created some opportunities and moved the ball well. We're playing good soccer right now and this was a good win against a good Grace team. ... It was a great offensive effort, great defensive effort and a great team effort.

It was good start to the season. Last year VCU beat us rather easily, but we ran as a team today and we had some freshmen and sophomores step up. We stayed close and worked together, that's what we need to do to be successful.

We were lacking confidence (earlier in the season) and having a hard time getting people coming out aggressive. But the kids are seeing good things from their teammates. They know they have to come out as the team to beat.

My understanding is you have to be .500 or better but at times they make exceptions. We beat some pretty good teams. We beat DePaul earlier in the season.

It was a great defensive effort by both teams. Both teams played really hard and aggressive and we were fortunate enough to beat a good team on the road.

This game meant a lot to us. We had a tough season, and to be able to come out and beat a team that beat us earlier this season meant a lot to us.
