We'll see in a few weeks how much separation there is. I'd like to have a good idea who the No. 1 and No. 2 are coming out of spring.

We have a very good idea of what our strongest one-day side is. If everyone's fit and ready to go there is probably only one position we would want to look at sometime over the coming weeks.

I feel pretty good, and we've still got a couple of weeks to get ready. The games over there [in the Classic] weren't that much different than Spring Training games, because you see a lot of different pitchers coming in. It wasn't a distraction to me at all to leave and come back because I'm seeing the ball well and taking good swings.

It's a long spring and longer season, and who knows what will happen. Just a few weeks ago, I had no idea I would have the opportunity now that I have.

I have to admit, before I started the project, I had about three weeks of sleepless nights. The idea of the Greek concept has been there forever. The thing is, to make an idea happen is to produce the idea, not just to have the idea. I kind of thought, Jesus, the world is going to think I'm totally crazy. But if they think it makes sense, this will be a good thing.

It was a good way to kick off our spring break with a win over Idaho today. The guys played well and were motivated to do well. We have had a couple of weeks to work on our games and now the season really kicks into gear with a heavy schedule of matches coming up.

It's real nice, especially coming this late in the spring. You always want to have that one good outing right before you leave Spring Training, and this is my last start down here, so it was a good time for it. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

We'll have a little bit of a better idea coming out of the spring. We want to go into the fall giving everybody reps.

Phil predicted six more weeks of winter. He has a 100-percent record of being right. If you look on the calendar, spring comes six weeks after his prediction. Predicting a mild winter doesn't mean spring gets here any sooner.

I felt so good coming out of Spring Training. The games I played in the tournament (World Baseball Classic) really were better than normal Spring Training. I saw good pitching and I've been able to carry that into the season.

This is a chance to get a little bit of separation if we play well. We blew one in Denver but tonight was a good one and we've got a few coming up here.

The idea was to train her and get her ready for the Azeri, but after her work the other day, I realized she is coming to hand way too fast. Then you have concerns: Am I going to have to hold her on the ground for another month? So, this seemed like a good idea and a good spot to get started.

We came out of spring believing that they each had a scrimmage or two that they were good at and one or two that they made some mistakes at. Each of them did that and in our mind there was not a separation going into (Thursday's) practice. I feel it's unfortunate that so many of you in the media have ranked them and have put them in place so that players have to hear that the entire summer. It's really not fair.

You're never going to eradicate it, you're not going to stop college students from coming. Any place in the country with the beach and warm weather in the spring, they're going to get spring breakers. So to say no more spring break isn't being totally realistic.
