en It's past the point of being ridiculous. It's just hard to believe it's taken so long.

en You have to think that at some point the cable operators are going to be forced to do something. But then again I said the same thing last year when the phone companies cut DSL pricing. It's hard to know where the breaking point is and how long it will take to get there.

en The fixed costs have been lowered by 26 percent, ... We have been working long and hard over the past few months. However, it's not all just hard grind. We have also been achieving sustainable success.

en It's been such a long process to get to this point. The feelings are a little mixed. Obviously, we've worked hard to get to this point ... but what gets lost, especially from the employee's standpoint, is there's a history here and a bit of sentimental value. It's a little bit bittersweet.

Sadly, this isn't just a Ford issue. It's an issue for our domestic competitors as well. As hard and painful as it is to idle plants and reduce our work force, we know these sacrifices are critical to set the stage for a stronger future.

en It will be a good year, but I think what you'll see is an end to some of the ridiculous perks of the past few years.

en Well, about four years ago I made a provocative statement saying that the PC was a ridiculous device, ... You have to add software to your PC to make it work sometimes. The whole idea of putting a floppy disk into a PC and loading software is ridiculous. The whole idea of backing up the data on your PC is ridiculous.

en The big risk is on the downside, but the market is ignoring a multitude of things they should be concerned about, such as the deficits and the weak labor market. We are getting to a point now where so many stocks are so overvalued that it is ridiculous and somebody at some point is going to say 'Mummy, the Emperor doesn't have any clothes on'.
