I think as a developer tool, it's first-rate already.

We have a contract in place with a developer. We're not at the point where we can name the developer but it is a local developer. Details will be presented as soon as we can.

I think PUD is the absolutely best tool that I've ever seen for working towards the accomplishment of these things. It's incentive-based, so it's win-win for the town and the developer.

Eclipse is much earlier in its lifespan. They made good progress with the core Java developer tool. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met.
