It was torture. It ordsprog

en It was torture. It was like being stuck in the house on a Saturday afternoon with chicken pox, looking out the window and seeing everyone outside playing. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. Practice was the only thing that kept me sane, smelling the grass, feeling the pads and the camaraderie.

en James has been playing unbelievable in practice. The movement is key to him and he's feeling more confident, but he hasn't played much on grass and it's to be determined. Andy has a lot more confidence because he's won a lot of matches on grass.

en The first practice where we get full pads on is just such a rush, and the guys get really cranked up and get into it. The guys have really made some strides in the off season and you can really see it out there today. Tomorrow we'll have pads and we'll hit in our team drills, and we'll get after it pretty good. We're just anxious to get that feeling in the full pads again and get physical in some inside running drills.

en There's just something mental about going out for that second practice - especially in the afternoon. You know you're going to go out in pads and it's going to be a little longer than this morning.

en We had planned to stay home and ride out the storm, not really believing that it would hit us, ... But on Saturday afternoon we realized that it was a huge storm headed straight for us and that it probably wasn't going to turn away. So we made the decision to leave. Jacob and I spent all Saturday boarding up the house and packing. We packed as if we'd never had a house, bringing everything we could possible fit in the car, and pulled out of the driveway at 8:15 Sunday morning.

en Where is Philosophy sleeping this saturday afternoon? Are the philosophers already dead? Are the poets gone from the planet? I look through the window and all I see are advertisments.

en We're hopeful we'll know something by [Friday] afternoon, but we can't be sure of that. Mike's been great in practice, and he's been working hard, but like the rest of us he's hoping we can get a resolution to this thing and start playing him in games.

en The White House has dodged the truth about torture for too long. With reports of torture in the news virtually every day, it is imperative the president and all in his administration end the secrecy and end the torture. This campaign will allow thousands of Americans to demand that torture in our names is not committed again and insist that the president speak the truth in his State of the Union address about this heinous crime.

en Today could be your last day playing. So when we go out there to practice, we're going to practice like it's our last day. We're going to practice every day like that until Friday. And then Saturday we're going to tell Rutgers to bring it on, because we're waiting. We're ready.

en I'm glad we won a couple of games because I would have said this anyway. But people would have thought I was just upset because we lost three games, which we could have. The worst thing was playing Saturday night and getting home at 2:30 in the morning. At least play an afternoon game in Cincinnati or something. The way that we're scheduling is just not going to work.
