At one point we ordsprog

en At one point we were 10-6, but I believed in these guys. I told them, we would have like to have won those matches, but this is where we want to win. February 17 and 18 is where we want to win.

en I believed in my teammates from the jump. Coach asked me before the season if I believed this could be one of the best Pitt teams ever, and I told him 'yes.' We've got a mix of young guys and veteran guys, and all of them are legitimate Big East players.

en I don't think there's any people outside our locker-room who believed we could go this far. I told my teammates back in Florida when I'd be back and I told them on Tuesday morning. A couple of guys smiled, I don't know if they believed me.

en If you would have told that to me before the tournament, that we would have done this, honestly I think 22 guys in that dressing room believed we could. Maybe nobody else would have believed it, but we did.

en When I was deciding whether to come back, I asked Deron [Williams] and Luther [Head] what I should do. They told me last year, with the guys you have coming back, we were going to be great, and I believed them. These guys seem like they're young, but they have experience. We know what we're doing.

en That's college basketball. I just told them they needed to finish the game. An 18-point lead is nothing that can't be overcome and in February you expect teams to play hard.

I told them that if you are ever going to be any good, a coach has to be able to turn the game over to you... today is the day when you guys need to do that.
