I don't think there should be any follow-up. I thought the penalty was harsh as it was. He was ejected. Let's move on with it, not take it to another level.

C.J. Brown and myself felt like we had an angle on the ball and it was already rolling out of bounds. To give a penalty I thought was pretty harsh.

He pushed me, so I pushed him back. I was surprised when he told me I was ejected. I didn't think it was fair. I don't know why I was ejected.

I thought after Craig made that huge penalty save, we were going to gain some confidence and move forward. We gave up some easy goals, and our confidence bubble just burst.

It is a cruel game and it is very harsh on the players. To come in 3-1 down at half-time felt unfair and the penalty was a killer for us. It looked very soft. At 2-1 down, we were just one goal away from winning the tie and in with a real chance.

It is tough for coaches to have to follow two separate state guidelines. We've had to follow the rules for both the MSHSL and the WIAA, and maybe this (move) would eliminate some of the problems.

He knew when to put the pedal to the metal if some defendant needed a harsh penalty but his first inclination was always to make someone better. He was basically a wonderful, kind man whose chambers were always open. In the 18 years that I've been here, I think the system is a better place because of judges like him.
