I have been working very closely with Brandon and his family and it is with our blessing that he has put his name into the draft. Brandon Heath is someone you love to see succeed for all sorts of reasons. He's a gentleman. Nobody works harder. You can't help but love Brandon Heath. To see him have both team and individual success is immensely gratifying.

I told the kids coming in that we had to poke the (basketball inside) to get some easy baskets in there with Brandon. I though we had a mismatch inside the post the whole game. Honaker was putting a whole lot of pressure on the ball on the perimeter. Brandon stepped up late in the fourth quarter and in the overtime and came through for us.

The NAIA is extremely proud of Brandon and happy to award him the Dr. LeRoy Walker Champions of Character Award. Brandon is a great success story in and out of sports and a great role model for youth and representative for the NAIA.

When Brandon called me on the phone and said he was going to put his name in the draft -- and he couldn't come back, since he had tested the waters a year ago -- the first call I made was to Glen Davis, ... And I told Glen, 'Brandon's putting his name in the draft' -- and Glen had kind of suspected that already -- 'and now it's on you.' I said, 'You wanted to be the man -- now you are the man.'

Brandon can guard at least three or four positions. And the same for Bobby.
