We'll have five Gainesville concerts plus three children's concerts plus two in Hiawassee. Six years ago I would not have dreamed this day would be possible.

We hope that these free concerts will whet their appetite for more and they will join us for regular concerts during the season.

The terms of the trust specified that the concerts must be free, and that they must be on Sunday afternoons. The idea was to enable families who would not otherwise be able to attend concerts to be able to come.
