Our team defense has gotten a lot better. We've got to keep our aggression up a little longer and play a little smarter and a little more disciplined.

We just have to keep our focus and stay disciplined. We were disciplined last season, but not as disciplined as we needed to be. We want to do the same things we did today: run, run, run with the ball and play defense for 94 feet.

I can watch them play and I feel very confident in the way they play, and I couldn't say that four months ago about either one of them, ... Robby now is playing much more disciplined, much smarter, not going for as many winners, they are both using their speed much better, using their defense better. There's no doubt about it, I truly feel you have to be a good defensive team to go anywhere. Defense is a lot of attitude and desire. You have to be disciplined and you have to be a real competitor to play defense. At this point in time, we have a way to go to get there.

We've got to go back to work and become a more disciplined and smarter team and do all the things it takes to win games. We have a lot of work to do because our opener is right around the corner. I'm convinced that we can get to where we need to be.

He was a main focus for us on defense. We made it a point to stop him and slow him down. We wanted to keep it tight and play solid, disciplined defense on him.

With us being so young and having a little experience, and this being the second year with the defense [under coordinator Ron Rivera], we're more focused in and we're a better defense now.
