en I thought they had two dominating players out there, No. 26 and No. 81 [tight end Kellen Winslow]. I haven't seen a safety that good in a long time. He hits as well as he covers.

en Derrick brings a lot to our team. He's a very explosive player. He can make things happen every time he touches the ball. He had about our only big play the other night.

en I just think the situation with Kellen (Winslow) there, it would probably be best for me to move on. I'm looking forward to a new opportunity, to get out and see a little bit of the country.

en They're an explosive team, but their style of play allows you to get back into games too. We kept fighting. We kept trying to make things happen and it seemed like every time we got close, we'd miss an easy one and they'd come down and make one.

en That was one play, and it was not desirable, but that is going to happen from time to time. [Guerrero] controls the running game and he has good range. Funny things happen in this park, and he just missed the ball.

en When you're an athlete, you know that your time is going to come and that time is when you're done, ... You know that's going to happen. So you better select a different job if you can't deal with that happening to you. I went through high school. I went through college. en It was a clean play. Those things happen from time to time.

en Chris did a real good job of preparing himself. That is a tribute to his work ethic. It is very difficult to not play for such a long time and then come in and be as sharp as he was. en 'What is REAL?' asked the Rabbit one day, 'Does it mean having things that buzz inside you and a stick-out handle?''Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.[...] 'Does it happen all at once, like being wound up,' he asked, 'or bit by bit?''It doesn't happen all at once,' said the Skin Horse. 'You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose joints and very shabby.
