It's a shame. It's ordsprog

en It's a shame. It's just the nature of the game.

en It is a shame. It certainly could have been a state championship game. You can't really fault the way the system is set up. We all knew that beforehand. The shame of it is that for one of us this game is going to be the way we remember our season.

en It's tough. But we won't have anyone to run it. What can you do? That's nature. It's a shame.

en There are no accidents, only nature throwing her weight around. Even the bomb merely releases energy that nature has put there. Nuclear war would be just a spark in the grandeur of space. Nor can radiation ''alter'' nature: she will absorb it all. After the bomb, nature will pick up the cards we have spilled, shuffle them, and begin her game again.
  Camille Paglia

en Those little nimble musicians of the air, that warble forth their curious ditties, with which nature hath furnished them to the shame of art.
  Izaak Walton

en We known ourselves to be made from this earth.
We know this earth is made from our bodies.
For we see ourselves.
And we are nature.
We are nature seeing nature.
We are nature with a concept of nature.
Nature weeping.
Nature speaking of nature to nature. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

en Because impudence is a vice, it does not follow that modesty is a virtue; it is built upon shame, a passion in our nature, and may be either good or bad according to the actions performed from that motive.

en I don't want what happened to detract from the game. (Owen J. Roberts) played just an outstanding game. It's just a shame they didn't get to enjoy it at the end of the game like they should have.

en It doesn't matter if it's a playoff game or a regular-season game. The umpires have to keep control of the game. Tony was warned twice.... It's a shame, but those are the circumstances.

en It's football. It's kind of the nature of the game, the nature of the beast, and we'll find out.

en I am against nature. I don't dig nature at all. I think nature is very unnatural. I think the truly natural things are dreams, which nature can't touch with decay.
  Bob Dylan

en It's hard to explain, every game is important especially with a team we're trying to chase. For us not to have that sense of urgency like it's a playoff game it's a shame. We should've been focused and executed the game plan and just gave an all-out effort, which we didn't.

en In my experience of shame, the other sees all of me and all through me, even if the occasion of shame is on my surface -- for instance, in my appearance; and the expression of shame, in general, as well as in the particular form of it that is embarrassment, is not just the desire to hide, or to hide my face, but the desire to disappear, not to be there. It is not even the wish, as people say, to sink through the floor, but rather the wish that the space occupied by me should be instantaneously empty. With guilt it is not like this. I am more dominated by the thought that even if I disappeared, it would come with me.

en We had a chance to win but it was like the whole game, we just couldn't stop them. Our offense wasn't the problem tonight. It was our defense. It's hard to explain when every game is so important, especially with a team we're trying to chase. Not to have that sense of urgency like it's a playoff game, is really a shame.

en That game involved two teams with very strong wills. It's a shame a game like that has to come down to free throws at the end.
