en For our country, it's really big. We're going to have a lot of people there supporting us. And it's European time, so people are able to see the games. It's not like 3 or 4 in the morning.

en When we began contacting people who had been involved with the games, everyone was eager to participate. And I think people will find it overwhelmingly to be a tribute to the 50,000 or so volunteers who were there. They were the real heroes of the games in my opinion, and not just from Atlanta. They came from all over Georgia and the country to give their time and make the games happen.

en We were walking downtown this morning and people were giving us high fives on the street. A lot of people are watching us and supporting us.

en Typically a person will play six to eight different games in a day, and normally there are two or three different types of games being played at the same time. It?s a tradition. If you are going to come at 11 a.m. and end up leaving at 2 in the morning, you are making time for this. People make an effort to come.

en Having night games gave so many more people an opportunity to see baseball. Once the war started, you saw a lot more night games being scheduled. In Washington, D.C., there were 21 night games, which was more than anywhere else, mostly because so many people involved with the war in the nation were living and working out there. Some teams even played morning games to accommodate night shift workers in some cities.

The country had a massive focus on subsidizing students, supporting government labs, and supporting colleges and universities. So there was a huge growth spurt in the talent pool in the 1960s as colleges and universities pumped out large numbers of technically trained people.

en It's a great growth area for the station. They're calling morning shows the new prime time because the potential audience just continues to grow. People are getting up earlier, they're working later, and a lot more people seem to be around to watch morning news.

en It's a very interesting and growing trend in part because the European countries are revisiting what it means to be a member of a political community as they have been integrated into the European Union and are thinking about greater mobility of their citizens in Europe and around the world. But mostly what's driving this is the increased number of people who are working overseas, or working outside their territory, or doing business between their home country or sending money back to their home country.

en Some people have asked, particularly from New Orleans, do I think that the fact that it's going to be a sellout is reason enough to go back there? My feeling is that these three games couldn't be like a referendum. Supporting one, two or three games is not akin to the whole season.

en You want people to see that we have the right mix of franchises. You have to have European football and American football. You have to have basketball, some action-adventure, some shooting games, some driving games, some character-driven games. So showing that we have that mix is important.

en If each time the Palestinians and the Israelis have a problem ... the Palestinians strike at European people and European interests, it will complicate matters greatly.

en When Dr. Jones went outside that morning (April 17) he saw a lot of cars when he expected everyone to be gone. There are two unrelated people now living in the house, but they will have friends over. We have people ride by there from time to time, just to check on it.
