I'm expecting things to taper off a little this week. We had such a chaotic time over the last week or so, that I think the market is sort of catching its breath.
John Vautrain
It will start to taper off a little bit. It will decrease, because there has been this tremendous push to get some major developments started there. Most of them are now underway.
Bradley Hunter
The guys were in the pool at 5 a.m. this morning. We've started to taper with some guys whose last meet will be the Valley or who are close to a (state) qualifying time. Everyone else begins to taper for the end of the season starting tomorrow morning.

[This did not come as news to Gordon Davidson, outgoing artistic director of Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum. Wilson knew of his condition when Radio Golf , the final play of his cycle, transferred to the Taper, where it is running through Sept. 18.] He asked for privacy, ... But he has been remarkable, determined to do the work. He's even working on a new set of notes, to put things in before we close.

Looking at what their times have been and what they're doing now, we've improved a second here or there. We're right where you want to be. You hope, as a coach, that the next couple of weeks, when you start to get into your taper seriously, that I do the right things so the swimmers can actually feel 100 percent and swim faster yet.
Dick Marcussen
In general, when a panic attack is coming on, the best thing to do is slow down. Walk more slowly, talk more slowly, breathe more slowly.

I don't want to start slowly, but that just seems to be how I've started since I was very young. Hopefully I'll get off to a quick start, because I feel very good at the plate.

Do you want to really get the pot boiling, so it revs up more and more throughout the arrangement? Or start bold and have it taper off and end with a tear? Or do you make one big broad statement, painting a noble landscape? I've been known to tinker with arrangements for a year or two.

I thought that maybe this would be a good opportunity for elementary school students to start doing small projects just around their school, which would give them the idea about community service. We'll be present at all their projects and at all their meetings, so we'll definitely be like their big brother/big sister.
Ashley Gisiger
Usually these types of projects need to have some sort of statewide benefit.
Jeff Kottkamp
I'm surprised they've taken things quite as slowly as they have. It's that sort of arrogance and lethargy that made Napster happen. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply
was
impressive. Where is the real action?
