en I think this is an excellent class. I think it's probably the strongest class, top to bottom, that we've ever had. Almost every guy is a very good athlete in another sport. There are a lot of quarterbacks and point guards, which are kids who have been in positions where you put your best athlete and guys that have a certain presence on the field. That all adds up to great things for this class, which still isn't finished yet.

en What Mike does a great job of is he understands defense, and he understands what causes you the most problems and where you don't want to be defensively. Then he tries to put you in that situation as much as possible. Then based on how you react to that, then that's where he likes to attack.

en I said last year our backup would have started for any other team in the league. (Medina) is a good athlete and he has been in our program for five years. He understands the offense and puts the ball where it needs to be. I haven't been worried about quarterback at all.

en When Charles is running the pass routes, our quarterbacks look better. He's just a phenomenal athlete.

en It was pleasure watching him grow ? from a ninth-grader with so much potential, seeing him mature as an athlete from an emotional freshman. He became such a leader.
