en I didn't know if I was going to be back this year with the injury. I'm happy to be back and doing anything I can.

en It's sad because it came back to haunt me this year, ... I came back from a wrist injury and a shoulder injury, so it's hard.

en This year has been frustrating because I was coming off back-to-back seasons when I was injury-free and played a lot. Every year I've been healthy and had over 500 at-bats, it's been a good year. That's what I'm looking forward to next year.

en Kyle is coming back to his form from last fall when he tied for first in the Raising Cane, ... He had back a lower back injury slow him down after that and has been a little inconsistent. However, we are expecting big things from him for the remainder of year.

en I'm sure that is something that is in the back of their minds. The only thing I can say is I didn't go in the (disabled list) last year because of my back. It was my finger. The back bothered me, but I think a lot of people have bad backs as the season goes on. I came back from it and finished off the year strong.

en We didn't have Mike until the last three meets last year because of an injury, so it was good to have him back.

en It didn't work the way we all would have liked for Holly this year. But it was never out of lack of effort by him. He gave us a heck of a first 40 percent last year and never got back on the field after the injury.

en This is a key year for him, I think, for him to go back out there and back last year up with another solid year. There is no reason why he shouldn't be able to, barring some type of serious injury.

en It's good to be back with the team. We need to get ready for the season. It's a big difference last year to now. I feel looser in my mechanics. Last year I came back from an injury and my body was so tight. It's hard to pitch that way.

I got a call from (Cleveland first baseman) Eduardo Perez relatively soon after the injury, and he said he came back and felt as good as new. I know there are some NFL quarterbacks, too. (Dan) Marino did it and came back as good, or better. I believe Walt Weiss had his career ended, but I'm 30. I think Walt was a little bit further along.

en Roy had his injury, I had my injury, Chuck got suspended. We never got it going as a group. Hopefully, we'll all be back next year, but we don't know about Chuck. Hopefully, he'll be back.

en His knee injury last year really set him back. It's good to have him back one-hundred percent.
