This will be seen as a publicity stunt and, yes, we want to attract people who might not ordinarily be basketball fans. But the main reason for doing this is to give basketball fans the chance to see one of the all-time great players playing here in the BBL.

They were actually camping out for the midnight madness, so I got a chance to shake some hands and stuff. It was just a great atmosphere. I was really amazed. They (the fans) are just crazy about basketball. They appreciate it, and it makes me like where I'm going and knowing I'll be appreciated for playing basketball.

This is terrific news for basketball fans in D-League markets, ... Now, in addition to seeing the best basketball players in the world not playing in the NBA, they will have the opportunity to see current NBA players as well, some of whom will be future NBA stars. We've now made a quality entertainment product even better.

We know there are great players over there, don't get me wrong. But the main reason we go there is for the fans. There are a lot of teams that come here and we just play (them) here. But the great support that we receive from our fans in Jacksonville makes it very important to me that we go over there.

I want to give our fans a lot of credit. With our students, fans and the Pirate Nation this was a great place to be tonight. It was loud and hot and a great basketball game.

NBA 2K6 is without a doubt the most innovative and exciting basketball title this year. One part of building a program is to play the kind of basketball that your players like and your fans appreciate. Our guys are playing hard, and that is the first and most important part of being appreciated as you play the game the right way. I think [the fans] really appreciate these guys because [the players] are putting their hearts out for them every night.

The thing I love most about Florida State is the people who support us. It's unbelievable to be at an FSU football game with 80,000 awesome fans. I want my players, who have done so much to elevate our women's basketball program, to experience that special atmosphere...and I'll camp out to rally those same fans to join us on Sunday at 1 p.m.!

This is a fun day for everyone because it really gives our players a chance to get to know our fans better and for our fans to see how they compare with the players. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. It's a great time for all.

It was a chance for basketball fans, not just our fans, to say thanks. It was the appropriate thing to do.

These fans have just jumped on. I think it's great for women's basketball and this city. We've got great pro sports fans here, and it's shown. I think this is a great step for the future of the WNBA.

Basketball fans have diverse interests and through Toyota one-on-one, we wanted to give them a chance to really pursue their passion...

Ideally, I'd like to have some more time. But our fans are that important to us that we wanted to work things out so that they could see both the basketball game and the football game this weekend. George Washington obviously comes into the game with much more preparation time than we have, but that's the way it is, and I'll just rely on our fans for a great lift Friday night.
