en He's very versatile. He's my size and a point guard. He can handle the ball really well. He's a smart, smart basketball player. He's got guys on this team that are really going to enjoy playing with him.

en In the first half we were actually down 8-2, and then we came back with a storm. Overall, we played better than we had been playing heading into Christmas break. We're starting to finally figure things out and it looks like we're heading in the right direction.

en (After halftime) we got our confidence back. I think personally we're the better team, the more experienced team. We just needed to start doing the fundamental things. I don't mind us taking the outside shots if we're rebounding. They've been playing long enough and are smart enough to read the defense well.

en Surprisingly, I think our girls have a little more confidence heading into tomorrow's round. The golf course is playing hard and we did not play our best, so to be within striking distance is a positive sign for our team.

en We had no competition in pool play, and then we went up against a good team that was playing well. I hope we can take a lesson from it. If we stick to our game plan, we should be able to spin this into a positive heading into the playoffs.

en Right now, we're disjointed. We're not a team. I think everybody likes each other, everybody's out there playing hard, but we're not always playing hard and smart.

en Sometimes we got caught up into the hype that we are a running team, and that would cause us to do a lot of stuff. Now we're looking at playing smart and taking what's available.
