Mouse's philosophy was, 'Hey, this is what we do. I want my third-stringers to throw. I want my receivers to catch,' ... I just, personally, now have an issue with it. What are you trying to prove after 70-75 points?

We have to have the receivers. You have to have somebody who can catch the ball. We're not going to throw the football, just to throw the ball. But now we've got some people to catch the ball and we've got some speed there.

The corners and safeties contained their receivers and let the D-line contain the run. We expected him (Culpepper) to take his shots, just throw it up even though his receivers were covered.

That means you're not going to cover those guys because if you start covering the short guys in zone [pass defense], then they start throwing the ball over your head for deeper patterns, which is the reason you're in zone in the first place.
