I've been real pleased ordsprog

I've been real pleased with our catching this season. Damian has given us a little more pop, and Chad hit better after a bad start. Both do great jobs behind the plate.

I thought Glen (Simon) did another fantastic job on the mound and really kept us in the game. Jack (Nelson) also gave us a really great performance at the plate. I was pleased that our hitters kept focused at the plate and I thought we played really hard right from the start.

I don't know if we have to do anything since Damian is technically committed to Florida. However, we're still deciding how to announce it if he goes to Arkansas. Damian will announce something before Wednesday because we want that to be about the team, not Damian.

It was a real good week for us. Our pitching held up and we looked good in key spots at the plate. With the amount of youth on our squad this year, we fully understand it is going to take time to get everybody on the same page. So far, we're real pleased with our start.

He has a chance to be a very good everyday player. He has great makeup and great plate discipline. He'll probably start this year at Triple-A. He's in the mix, [ability-wise], with [Dodgers prospects] Andy LaRoche, Russell Martin, Chad Billingsley, Matt Kemp and Joel Guzman. His upside should be very good.

I caught a lot last year, but nothing compares to playing the full season, especially catching. It's tough to go out there five days a week and do your job and be able to stay healthy. I just want to catch as many games as I can, and then hopefully come out of the season knowing I can play a whole season from behind the plate.

I would say overall we're pleased. We got off to a real rocky start (this season) and we're trying to tie things together, get better every time. And I think they wrestled pretty good (Thursday). I was pretty pleased, but we've got a long way to go.

Marcus Nash is a real talent and has had great success in our league. Obviously, Damian Harrell has done a great job for us. It's a wide-open passing game, so those two guys are the focal points.

Pretty dang good impression. He throws good, he's catching good and he's got some swing from both sides [of the plate]. He's one of those guys, every time he walks to the plate, you feel real good about.

If he had to start, we don't have any problem putting him in there. But at this point, I anticipate that Chad will start the season off for us.

I am very pleased that Chad will lend his experience and knowledge to NCTAF. Chad's passion to improve education will be an incredible asset to the board.

He's been catching every day, and for a big guy, that wears on him. But he's been very good for us. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. Even when he's not hitting, he's been doing a great job behind the plate handling the pitchers.

Dustin is projected to start the season in Los Angeles. We are obviously pleased to have him signed and under contract with our organization. We think he has a real bright future with the Kings.

Phil's been doing a great job of getting the ball to the right guy this season. He's playing within himself, not trying to do too much. I'm real pleased with what he's been able to do so far.

I think Chad is a great competitor. I think he's a hard worker. I think he's smart, and I respect all the things Chad has done. I haven't talked to any of the doctors. I haven't sat down with Chad. So until I do that, I won't really feel comfortable commenting any further.
