en We really got off to a slow start, but once we got going, we started taking better shots. We drove to the basket a little bit, penetrated and kicked and made some plays. Everybody knows when Rip and Chauncey are making shots, it makes it easier for the other players.

en I thought when their guards penetrated and got good shots, our big girls made the shots tough one them and that made the big difference.

en Those 48 shots were realistic shots. We drove through the middle as much as we could. We created outside lanes. We shot the puck a lot. If you throw the puck at the net you have a good chance of it going in.

en It wasn't surprising that he hit those shots. We told him to take those shots if they were there. en That's what's great about our offense. When our guards start hitting shots, that really opens up the middle for me. ... And when I got it down there tonight, I finished it.

en They penetrated and we helped off, and he hit a couple of big shots. He hit the shots when they needed it.

en We got those early nerves out right away. There wasn't much pressure after the first quarter. Some of our guards hit some big shots. We didn't lose our composure. We stayed within ourselves.

en We didn't make our shots but that wasn't the problem. They killed us on the boards and in transition.

en It's tough to beat the same opponent three times. We never did get our offense in sync in the second half, but Jason King did a great job of moving the basketball. He penetrated when we needed him to, and backed it out when we needed him to do that. He's like a coach on the floor.

en At the beginning of the game, it was just me on him. At times, we would double, and our rotation wasn't the best it should be. Their guards were getting open shots and knocking them down. That hurt us just by his presence in there.
